Of all the untimely, frustrating and unneccesary celebrity deaths, I don't know why hers bothers me so much. But it does.

With all the coverage of her passing and the talk of its "inevitability" (which I disagree with) I've felt compelled to sketch some portraits of Miss Winehouse. Damaged though she was, her talent and style were undeniable and I feel we saw far too little of it.
