Ex Libris: 100 Artists, 100 Books was an exhibition that brought together the worlds of visual art and literature. 100 artists were asked to create a piece of art interpreting their favorite book. The show was inspired by the presence of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP), which visited Seattle in February, 2014
This piece was created for the group show Ex Libris, an exhibition in which 100 artists were asked to interpret their favorite book. Michael Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay was one of the books that changed my life and I've re-read every few years since I first discovered it.
